What are the availability and crediting time for direct debits services?
What is Direct Debit?
Direct Debit is a collection service offered to a business entity/seller (“Biller”) who intends to collect funds from their customer/buyer (“Payer”) on a recurring basis.
How do I start collecting via Direct Debit?
You would need to subscribe to the Direct Debit service and register as a “Biller” with us to be able to transmit your collection instructions via our internet banking, i.e. UOB Infinity.
Prior to that, Direct Debit Authorisation must be obtained from your payers.
What type of debiting accounts are supported?
Current Account, Savings Account and Credit Card.
