COVID-19 Relief Assistance

COVID-19 Relief Assistance Programme after 30 Sep 2020

We stand right by you and will continue to ensure you have the support you need to help you through these uncertain times.

Recognising that some of our customers continue to face challenges during this challenging time, we are committed to assisting individuals and businesses adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, to support economic recovery and safeguard the livelihood of Malaysians.

As part of the measures announced during the recent Budget 2021 presentation, we will be expanding our repayment/payment assistance to all customers in the B40 group who have registered under the Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) or Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR) and eligible Microenterprises with loan/financing facilities amounting up to RM150,000, which was approved before 1 October 2020.

In addition, individuals under the M40 group who registered for the Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN) could also benefit from our current targeted assistance.

Individuals under the B40 and M40 groups, as well as eligible microenterprises may apply for the Targeted Repayment Assistance by submitting the e-form below from 23 November onwards:

As the six-month automatic loan/financing moratorium ends on 30 September 2020, we are offering COVID-19 Relief Assistance Programme to ensure that the right support is provided to our customers who need it. We have simplified the application and documentation process for you.

UOB Malaysia would like to confirm that our customer-facing employee, located at the Damansara Uptown, Petaling Jaya, Selangor branch has tested positive for COVID-19 on 16 April 2021. He is currently under quarantine while awaiting further instructions from the local authority. We are offering assistance to our affected colleague and his family as he focuses on his recovery. 

We have conducted contact tracing and have contacted all customers and colleagues who may have come into close contact with the confirmed case. They are being asked to undergo COVID-19 tests and self-quarantine for 14 days while awaiting further instructions from the authorities. At the same time, we are working closely with the health authorities on any additional follow-up measures that may be required. 

The branch, and its self-service banking facility (SSB) will resume its normal operation hours after a thorough deep cleaning of the premises today. As per our standard operating procedure, all our offices, branches and SSB facilities undergo a daily deep-cleaning before resuming their normal operations. We wish to reassure our customers and colleagues that precautionary measures recommended by the government have been implemented at our premises to ensure the safety of everyone. #UnitedForYou

The confirmed case has not been in contact with any customers in the last 10 days. She is currently under quarantine while awaiting further instructions from the local authority. We are offering assistance to our affected colleague and her family as she focuses on her recovery.
