About MM2H

The Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Programme is a government initiative that allows foreign nationals to live in Malaysia on a long term visa. It is essentially a way for individuals to obtain a multiple entry social visit pass, enabling them to reside in the country for an extended period, typically renewable in five year increments, but not permanent residency. The MM2H program is designed to attract foreign investment, promote tourism and stimulate economic growth.

Eligibility

Individuals applying for the MM2H visa are no longer required to demonstrate a specific level of income from outside Malaysia.

A maximum withdrawal of 50% from the principal FD value is allowed once approval as an MM2H participant has been obtained, for the purposes of purchasing a residence, education, medical needs or tourism activities in Malaysia.
