UOB Malaysia officially opens its Taman Kota Laksamana branch, Melaka

Melaka, Malaysia, 22 November 2023 – UOB Malaysia recently held the official opening of its branch in Taman Kota Laksamana, Melaka. The branch was relocated from its previous location at Plaza Mahkota to provide better connectivity and accessibility for its customers.


Paying homage to Melaka’s rich and beautiful culture, the branch’s Privilege Banking centre is designed in the Baba & Nyonya concept. The branch’s façade is also decorated with murals that showcase Peranakan art, craft and heritage, created by Mr Wong Sze Yoong, who is the 2020 UOB Painting of the Year (Malaysia) Gold Award winner under the Emerging Artist Category.
