The Bank’s Whistleblowing Policy provides access to well-defined and confidential reporting channels for any individual to report any suspected wrongdoings to the Head of Internal Audit, Chairman of the Audit Committee, CEO or Chairman of the Board. Reports may be submitted via written correspondence or email. The Bank does not tolerate retaliation against whistleblowers who make reports honestly and in good faith.
Feedback on customer service quality and matters relating to personal work-related grievances (e.g., workplace environment or perceived favoritism) are outside the scope of whistleblowing. To share feedback on customer service quality, please submit it via the relevant department’s complaint-handling platform on Contact Us.
Whistleblowing reports may be sent to:
Country Head of Internal Audit at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Berhad,
Level 24, UOB Plaza 1 KL,
7, Jalan Raja Laut,
50350 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
OR
All reports received are handled in strict confidence, subject to applicable legal & regulatory requirements. Reports are investigated independently by the Internal Audit, which is the administrator of the Whistleblowing Policy. The Internal Audit provides regular updates on whistleblowing reports to the Audit Committee.
