Introducing UOB Secure Email

UOB is committed to enhancing information security, including when sending confidential information to you.

We use the UOB Secure Email system to protect email content from unauthorized access. This system safeguards confidential information sent via email by encrypting the entire message, including the email body and any attachments. The encrypted email can only be accessed through the UOB Secure Email system using a password that you will need to set up once, during your initial access.

How to Use UOB Secure Email

Viewing Encrypted Emails
When you receive your first encrypted email, you will be prompted to register your email address and create a password within the UOB Secure Email system. Once registered, you may use the same credentials to securely access all future encrypted messages.

Replying to Encrypted Emails
After opening an encrypted message within the UOB Secure Email system, you may respond by selecting the Reply option provided within the UOB Secure Email interface. All replies sent through the system will also be encrypted. For your convenience, you may copy your reply to your primary email inbox, if required.

Email Security
Whenever you receive an encrypted email from the UOB Secure Email system, always ensure that the sender's address and the embedded URL comes from one of the following domains:

• uob.co.id
• uobgroup.com
• uob.com.my
• uob.co.th
• uobservices.co.th
• uobchina.com.cn
• uob.com.vn

In addition, you can also see images included in each encrypted email notification. This image is unique to you and will remain the same each time you receive an encrypted email from the UOB Secure Email system.
