With DuitNow on UOB Personal Internet Banking (PIB) and UOB TMRW (mobile banking), you can receive money instantly and directly into your account. To enjoy this convenience, register for a DuitNow ID using your mobile number or NRIC number and link it with your UOB account number. DuitNow also allows you to send money to both UOB and other banks’ account holders using only their mobile numbers, if the recipient has signed up for a DuitNow ID. You have the flexibility to switch your DuitNow IDs to link it to your UOB account anytime via PIB and UOB TMRW.

What is DuitNow?

DuitNow is a real-time online fund transfer service which allows payment to be addressed to an ID called DuitNow ID. With DuitNow on UOB Personal Internet Banking and UOB TMRW (mobile banking), you can receive money instantly and directly into your account via your mobile number, NRIC or passport number, army or police number, or business registration number.

It is an identifier of an account holder such as a mobile number, NRIC or passport number, army or police number, or business registration number which can be linked to your bank account to receive funds via DuitNow service. You may link more than one DuitNow ID to the same bank account number but a particular DuitNow ID can only be linked to one account at any one time.

The daily maximum transaction limit for DuitNow is RM50,000. However, you can login to PIB/UOB TMRW to set your preferred daily maximum transfer limit (up to RM50,000).

No. DuitNow fund transfer service is only applicable locally between participating banks.

You can only transfer to recipients who have registered their mobile numbers as DuitNow ID.

You will receive an acknowledgement via SMS when the DuitNow fund transfer is successful. Alternatively, you may check the status of your fund transfer transaction history through My Activity, accessible via PIB/UOB TMRW.

All transaction fees for DuitNow will be waived until 31 December 2025*.

Yes. You can deactivate or deregister your DuitNow ID which is currently linked to your UOB account in UOB Personal Internet Banking or UOB TMRW. To deactivate or deregister:

  • Login to Personal Internet Banking.
  • On the left menu, select “Account Services”.
  • Under the drop-down list, select “Manage DuitNow”.
  • Click deactivate or delete DuitNow ID. 

 

UOB TMRW

  • Login to UOB TMRW.
  • On the left menu, select “Manage DuitNow”.
  • Swipe left and click deactivate or delete DuitNow ID.
