PRUEzy Life

PRUEzy Life is a yearly renewable non-participating group insurance plan that provides basic coverage of up to RM10,000 for Death, Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) and an additional Accidental Death Benefit. It is renewable up to age next birthday (ANB) 56*. This is a pure protection product and does not include any savings or investment elements. 

PRUEzy Life covers: 

Death Benefit
In the event of Insured Member’s death, 100% of the sum assured will be payable. 

Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) Benefit
In the event of Insured Member suffering from TPD, 100% of the sum assured will be payable.
Note: Payment of this benefit will reduce the Death Benefit. 

Accidental Death Benefit
Accidental Death Benefit shall be payable as below (whichever is higher) if the following event happens:

1. an additional 100% of the sum assured if death is due to accident;
2. an additional 200% of the sum assured if death is due to accident from commuting in public conveyance, elevator car, burning of theatre, hotel or other public building; or
3. an additional 300% of the sum assured if death is due to accident occurring while Insured Member is residing or travelling outside of Malaysia (except Singapore and Brunei) for not more than 90 consecutive days, or in Singapore or Brunei for any number of days.

*Certificate renewal is not guaranteed. Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad (PAMB) reserves the right to discontinue this insurance product by giving you not less than 30 days written notice prior to certificate anniversary.

Suitability
PRUEzy Life is suitable for those who are looking for a pure protection life insurance plan with an option of 3 plans to suit the needs and affordability.

Eligibility
Malaysian citizens ANB 19 to 55 who are UOB Malaysia customers and residing in Malaysia.

Premium amount
The yearly premium amount varies according to your ANB and selected plan. The renewal premiums for subsequent years will be adjusted according to ANB at certificate anniversary. The premiums are not guaranteed and may be revised at certificate anniversary by giving you at least 90 days prior written notice. 

Coverage term
Renewable annually up to ANB 56.
Note: Certificate renewal is not guaranteed. Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad (PAMB) reserves the right to discontinue this insurance product by giving you not less than 30 days written notice prior to certificate anniversary.

Payment frequency
Yearly

1. Suicide - If death was due to suicide within the one year from the effective date of the certificate, all premiums paid will be returned without interest.
2. Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) Benefit is not payable if the disability is directly or indirectly caused by:
   1. any pre-existing conditions;
   2. any attempted suicide or self-inflicted injury whether attempted/inflicted while sane or insane;
   3. any travelling in an aircraft other than as a pilot or a member of a crew or a fare paying passenger in a commercial aircraft licensed for passenger service on scheduled flights over established routes only; or
   4. any participation in any aerial sporting activities such as hang-gliding, ballooning, parachuting, sky-diving, bungee jumping and other such similar activities.
3. Accidental Death Benefits are not payable if it is caused directly or indirectly by:
   1. any attempted suicide or self-inflicted injury whether attempted/inflicted while sane or insane;
   2. breaking or trying to break any law or to resist arrest;
   3. pre-existing physical or mental illness or infirmity;
   4. war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, taking part in riot, strike or civil commotion;
   5. engaging in or taking part in professional sports, scuba diving, racing of any kind, aerial flights (including bungee jumping, hang-gliding, ballooning, parachuting and sky-diving) other than as a crew member of or as a fare-paying passenger on a licensed passenger-carrying commercial aircraft operating on a regular scheduled route or any dangerous activities or sports;
   6. pregnancy, childbirth, miscarriage or any related complications; or
   7. misuse or abuse of alcohol, or misuse or abuse of drugs.
