PRUMedic Overseas is a regular premium investment-linked medical rider that reimburses medical expenses incurred for hospitalisation and outpatient treatment overseas for covered illnesses.

*PRUMedic Overseas can be purchased at pre-natal stage (13 weeks into pregnancy) in which the waiting period will be calculated from the actual date of birth of the child.

Notes:

¹ If surgery for a covered illness is done in Malaysia instead of overseas, then Well-Being Benefit will be payable for every hospitalisation and surgery done in Malaysia for the 5 covered illnesses. Once you have claimed the Well-Being Benefit, you shall no longer be entitled to claim other benefits (i.e. Hospital & Surgical Benefits and Outpatient Treatment Benefits) for that particular covered illness. For surgeries that fall under two or more categories of covered illness, Well-Being Benefit will be paid once for each hospitalisation. Any claim on this benefit will reduce the Overall Annual Limit and Lifetime Limit.

Note:
We shall only reimburse on Reasonable and Customary Charges on eligible expenses which are deemed Medically Necessary. The reimbursement for the charges incurred for a covered illness shall be based on the Reasonable and Customary Charges in Malaysia or one of the specified countries, and not subject to 90 days residence limit.

• You should satisfy yourself that this product will best serve your needs and that the premium payable under the policy is an amount that you can afford. • The rates of the insurance charges for basic plan are guaranteed, whereas rates for its attachable riders (if any) are not guaranteed and we reserve the right to revise them at policy anniversary by giving a 90-day prior notice to policy owners (except for medical and critical illness riders where a 30-day prior notice will be provided). If we increase the rates of the insurance charges, you may need to pay additional premiums or top-ups.
• You can surrender the policy at any time. However, if you terminate the policy in the early years, you may get back less than the amount you have paid in. Upon surrender, a surrender value will be payable and all the benefits under this plan will be terminated.
• There is a free-look period of 15 days after the policy has been delivered to you to allow you to review it if it meets your needs. If the policy is cancelled within this period, we will refund you the unallocated premiums, the value of units that have been allocated (if any) at unit price at the next valuation date, any insurance charge, taxes (if any) and other charges that have been deducted, less any medical fee incurred.
• PRULink Cover and its attachable riders (if any) are not Shariah-compliant products..
• Among other factors, non-payment of premiums may cause this policy to lapse. The policy coverage term shall depend on the target policy term option selected and is subject to the policy having sufficient value of units to cover all the policy charges. To ensure that the policy has sufficient value of units, additional premium is likely required during the policy term.
• For more information on the funds, please refer to their respective Fund Fact Sheets available on PAMB corporate website at www.prudential.com.my. You may also track the performance of your fund(s) by checking the unit prices published daily on the website.
• If you switch your current medical plan with another or from one provider to another, you may be subject to new underwriting requirements and waiting periods for the new plan.
• You must inform us of any change in your occupation, avocation or sports activities because it may affect the premiums, terms, conditions and benefits of the policy.
• Any age reference shall be on the basis of Age Next Birthday.
