    A NON-PARTICIPATING REGULAR PREMIUM ENDOWMENT INSURANCE PLAN that provides a lump sum benefit upon diagnosis / hospitalisation of the covered infectious diseases. Upon each claim payout of Infectious Disease Benefit, Recovery Benefit will be payable. It also pays a lump sum benefit either at maturity of the policy, upon death during the term of the policy or upon Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) prior to the Policy Anniversary of age next birthday (ANB) 70 or expiry of policy, whichever is earlier. In addition, Bi-annual Cash Payment will be payable upon Life Assured’s survival to the end of every 2 policy years.

Exclusively for UOB Credit/Debit Card customers, selling via telemarketing channel, for policy term up to age next birthday (ANB) 80.

Enjoy the plan that offers you protection against infectious diseases and death/Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) that comes with affordable premium. On top of that, it also provides additional lump sum payout for Recovery Benefit due to the covered infectious diseases. Bi-annual Cash Payment will be payable upon Life Assured’s survival to the end of every 2 policy years, along with the Maturity Benefit payable upon maturity.

This policy comes with 3 different plans with the respective sum assured amount as stipulated below:

Benefits Table

Death Benefit

Policy Year 1 & 2:
We shall pay 100% of Total Premium Paid.

Policy Year 3 onwards:
We shall pay the higher of:
100% of Sum Assured; or
100% of Total Premium Paid

Upon payment of Death Benefit, the policy will be terminated.
Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) Benefit  In the event of TPD, Death Benefit as described above shall be payable and the policy will be terminated thereafter.

Note: TPD Benefit is only applicable prior to the Policy Anniversary of ANB 70 or expiry of policy, whichever is earlier.
Infectious Disease Benefit Infectious Disease Benefit shall be payable as below if the following event happens:
  1. 5% of the Sum Assured shall be payable for each diagnosis of infectious disease in Category A as stipulated in the table below.
  2. 10% of the Sum Assured shall be payable for each hospitalisation due to diagnosis of infectious disease in Category B as stipulated in the table below.

Notes:
  • Multiple claims can be made in each policy year, subject to maximum one claim for each infectious disease per policy year. Payment of this benefit is payable on top of all other benefits, provided the policy remains in force
  • Waiting Period: 30 days from effective date of policy or revival date of policy, whichever is later
Recovery Benefit Upon each claim payout of Infectious Disease Benefit described above, an additional 1% of the Sum Assured will be payable.

Notes:
  • Payment of this benefit is payable on top of all other benefits, provided the policy remains in force
  • Waiting Period: 30 days from effective date of policy or revival date of policy, whichever is later
Bi-annual Cash Payment Bi-annual Cash Payment, i.e. 2% of the Sum Assured, will be payable upon survival of Life Assured to the end of every 2 policy years provided the policy remains in-force. The Bi-annual Cash Payment shall be used to offset against any indebtedness (such as Automatic Premium Loan) relating to the policy before the net amount is paid to the policyholder.

The Bi-annual Cash Payment will be paid out to all policyholders via direct credit.
Maturity Benefit Provided the policy remains in-force at maturity, 100% of the Sum Assured shall be payable, less any amount owed during the policy term.
Surrender Benefit Upon surrender, guaranteed surrender value shall be payable, if any.
Underwriting Simplified Issuance Offer (SIO) based on the 2 simple health questions below:
  1. Are you currently suffering or suspected from, or in the past 2 years had any medical condition or investigation, with abnormal findings requiring follow up?
  2. Have you in the past 2 years, been hospitalised for more than 5 consecutive days or under medications longer than 2 weeks?
